History Channel presents 'God vs. Satan: the Final Battle.' It is a universal theme that has spanned centuries and cultures...and has, as some say, become increasingly more relevant today.

Surprisingly, however, a final chapter of this apocalyptic end has received little examination: the actual final battle between God and Satan, good and evil. The Bible points to a battlefield at Meggido in present day Israel, with each side taking a series of steps that will lead up to, and unfold, during this actual battle. the history channel misrepresents what the bible actually says. cause God made the world and it shall never end. several verses say that the world is never gonna be comepletely destroyed and espacially not the whole of the universe. history channel get ur facts straight!!

@mikelheron20 Easy. This is part of human history- at least the Old Testament is about the beginning of Isreal and Egypt. We need to understand that we as humans are nothing without God who put us here for a reason, or his creation and his love for humans and the world. We are not meant to understand everything going on around us, God is in control of all things.

I cant stand it when the history channel tries to cover anything biblical.

I mean, just look at what they say about the book of revelation:

Its nothing but dreams and nightmares,

Its 1 man's hatred of the roman empire,

and its one mans fabrication of future events.

THIS ENTIRE SHOW IS AN ATHEIST TRYING TO REPRESENT WHAT HE THINKS

THE BIBLE, GOD, AND SATAN IS ALL ABOUT.

Your god creates human with flaws, give them a commandment, creates a being that he knows will cause the fall of mankind, get mad and punish humanity for the benign action of two people, and the only way to forgive humanity is through the display of a grotesque execution, then demand that we accept this sacrifice, oh by the way, the only way to salvation is to believe this absurd story for which there's no evidence.

The better question is why did he create a being he knew would become 'the Satan'? It was to have someone, the Satan, testing humanity on whether they love their 120 year old life more than the Creator who promises them eternal life by believing that Lord Jesus died on the cross for your sins (and thus repenting of your sins) and was raised back to life by God the Father, and keeping the Commandments.

@Jantv81 Can you provide evidence for Satan? And if he indeed exist, can you show me that it's not people of your that he's leading? Suppose there is a god, how can prove that it's yours? If god is omniscient, all good, and the creator of all things, why didn't he destroy Satan knowing the havoc he will cause on mankind. Can show the evidence for heaven, eternal life and the soul? Can you tell me why I should gamble my future on the words of ignorant and superstitious bronze age man?

Let's see here. The common wo/man lies (who knows what kind of affects will resort from being lied to, all kinds of crazy and low tempered out there)...steals...cheats...get­s wasted on drugs, pills, and alcohol...causes physical and emotional harm to others...and it goes on and on. Yet you're sitting here telling me that God shouldn't let natural disasters occur? Punishment is given to those who do wrong, even country/town laws testify that punishment is due to such individuals.

@Jantv81 I meant to say - as God loves humans and the world, and since he is in control of all things, could you ask him (the next time youre chatting to him) to take better control of tsunamis. That will do for starters. We'll get on to earthquakes, floods, famine, starvation, disease, congenital deformities etc. later. I guess he's too busy loving us to pay attention to everything. Besides, I'm sure you'll tell me that they are all due to man, original sin or the devil - right?
