Remember This Game?- Star Wars: Republic Commando (Part 1)

the quality is pretty bad for the game because it is to prevent more lag and frame rate problems.

I remember that i used to play this game for the original xbox when i was 9 years old, back when i was in "Star Wars Mode" because Star Wars Episode III was about to come out at the time. I've just bought this game for the PC through Steam and it's everything I remembered it was. I still like it now but the multiplayer is ify for me now.

I got the 'Star Wars The Best Of PC' mainly for battle front and Jedi knight, But this game is pretty kick ass, i couldn't get it to work at first, something to do with ATI cards, you must turn bump mapping to low, if you don't it just loads then goes to desktop, another thing is, my Rig's pretty powerful, it's not draw dropping but sometimes i get random lags spots, and from a rig that can play Crysis on max it's a wee' bit confusing, is the engine pretty piss poor or something?

i got a problem with starting a new game when i select new game it says the game does not respond i searched on google and allot of different other search engines but i can't find anything is it because of vista or something else

I got this game when I still had Vista on my computer so it isn't that. Did you get your game thru a torrent? I got mine on Steam. Sorry, but all I can say is uninstall the game and install it again and see what happens.
