Oblivion - Mages Guild - A Mage's Staff

This is the "A Mage's Staff" quest.

Summary:
Speak with Raminus Polus and follow his instructions.
Travel to Wellspring Cave (Follow your waypoint.)
There is a corpse near the beginning. Get the key from it.
Kill all Necromancers within the cave.
Explore through the cave, then go outside from the exit at the end.
There will be a few Necromancers outside. Kill them.
Retreive your Unfinished Staff from the coffin.
Return to Raminus and tell him of what you discovered.
Speak with Delmar of the Chironasium.
Follow his instructions and receive your staff at the end.

Dam I wish Id found your vids/profile ages ago, I done this quest yesterday. Im gonna chill today and enjoy some more I love this game, Ive been playing it for about a year on and off. Im at level 28 now and I dont even think im half way through the game yet, Ive completed 97 quests. I carnt believe your putting a tut up for this game man Ive spent 200+hrs so far it would take forever. Has anymore actually 100% this game do you know ? Whats the highest level ?

I've heard the highest level is 255, but I'm not quite sure. To get to a higher level you have to go to jail and get your stats to decrease. This makes it so you can get them higher and continure leveling.

No, I've never met a person who has completed Oblivion 100%, but I'm sure there are people out there. Other people on Youtube also have made tutorials and guides of this game, most of which are further than mine.

i did this quest and my mage staff isnt in my inverntory ;( why???

destruction staves are never a good idea because liches and conjurures always cary them and are better than the average mage staff my thoughts on it is go paralasis or soul trap because you alway forget to do soul trap and that staff is a big reminder and paralasis is a advanced spell ability just ten seconds requires a master in illusion. im not telling you how to run your show im telling how i run mine and this is my own opinion

Ah, brings back some nice memories!

But why, in Oblivion, does everyone always ask you whether you want to begin a task before they give you the details (like Delmar does, telling you what spells are availible only after you agree)? A great game, but dialogue sure wasn't its strong point.

Thanks for your reply man, There maybee other guides out there but Im more than happy with yours, Great quality and sound and quite lengthy too which I like. I just hope you keep up the drive to do it coz like I said it will take forever but having a HQ vid tut of Oblivion will mean just as much as the game save. What level 255 ? That would take years man, Im lvl 28 now and thats after 200+hrs. Ive been playing it all afternoon its on pause now as I type. Great Job man keep em coming plz !
