I picked a few cases from Trader Joe's. I also like the cerveza negra. The San Miguel from Philippines is definitely better than the one's I've had in Spain, Germany, and UK.
Viva Filipinas!!

If you go to Spain this is everywhere. I try and avoid it lol. There is a beer called Cruz campo which tastes alot lighter and is cheaper.

It one of the best island beers, think of 3rd world beach limbo party.
4 **** star, rest of island beers are 3 max except Hawaii Kona Beers, IPA rocks.

San Miguel in Spain has the same origins as San Miguel in the Philippines. However, since 1953 the brewery in Spain has been under separate ownership and no longer has any connections with San Miguel Corp. Philippines. The beer in Spain is brewed by San Miguel, Fábricas de Cerveza y Malta, S.A., part of Grupo Mahou-San Miguel.
--- Thus, No longer connected with its spanish counterpart. Not sure about the taste though

Under a royal grant from Spain, Enrique Barretto y de Ycaza opened La Fábrica de Cerveza de San Miguel, Southeast Asia's first brewery, on September 29, 1890. San Miguel Corporation has over 100 facilities in the Philippines, Southeast Asia, China, and Australia.
Good beer ;-)

From the looks of how you jumped the first time you tasted it, I'm not sure I want to try it. I thought maybe it had Filipino piss in it.
