Quick and dirty battlereport : (I'm horrible at writing battlereports)

NCdot and Raiden formed up to shoot something, probably a cyno jammer. Must have been a cyno jammer, considering the fact that -A- actually fielded supercaps and titans during the defense.

NCdot/Raiden scrambled roughly 100 souls for this fleet, and after bridging around east and west for a while, jumping some gates, we finally entered system. FC told us to be on our toes due to one or more hostile bomber squads. Bombers are bombers, what can you do. We kept warping those big abaddons around like there was no tomorrow, and at some point we actually engaged the iHub.

Story goes as predicted, bombers hits us, people take damage and we try to rep (me in a logi, obviously). We rep as best as we can, however, hostiles have a good set of ECM boats on us, making us lose cap chains and whatever...

Although we did our best, I am sincerely sorry for losing my first cap buddy. I took my eyes off him for a mere 30 seconds (just after it seemed he lost primary aggro)... and when I looked back, he was dead. I guess the evil hostiles had a lot of DPS after all.

Fleet is juggling around a bit, dodging bombers (for the most part), after the initial engagement we meet up with a dominix fleet. That was strange. We killed some of them, and warped off somewhere. Maybe it was the cyno jammer. About the cyno jammer, we probably got a few rounds off before -A- sends in their defense fleet. They also send in a couple of Titans and some supercaps, which is totally understandable. I'll give them total thumbs up for balls, kudos to -A- for that (or whomever fielded them)

Anyway, the story continues with shooting a bit here, a bit there - The FC got lots of credit for performing exceptionally good in terms of accurate target calling. Logistics got a lot of hearts for doing a good job as well, although - we couldn't keep up with everything. Bombs and ECM crippled us from time to time. Even if the hostile bombing runs were mostly vague and off target, they did hit here and there. Well, you know how that part goes.

The FC decides we should go home for a coffee or a maybe a beer, and so we did.

Thats about it. I just want to add that whomever thinks NCdot/Raiden can not fight without supercaps, you may want to take a 2nd look on that battlereport.
