Round 6 of the British Formula Vee Championship on 3rd July 2011. New camera position this time, I feel it gives a better idea of what it's like from the drivers point of view and you can see cars in the mirrors either sideto see whats going on behind.

This was my second win of the weekend, I passed Fraser O'Brian for the lead on the second lap and he then lost control at the old hairpin spinning round (see in right mirror). This gave me a little gap to pull out and win by just under 4 seconds. Now leading championship by i think around 25 points or more.

  • Very great race, Michael Epps!!!! How much gforce produced your car in the turns? I know that Formula Vee since day zero produced more gforce than open wheelers comparing to Fvee, cause the lowe centre of gravity and over the years the carefully development such things like zero roll rear suspension, i never drove my lovely fvee i had watching since Nuerburgring 1969 feeder races like the unforgettable Fvee race 69 between Dr. Helmut Marko and a unknown guy names Nicolaus Lauda. • @samothsamothsamoth Thanks for your comment.

We can get upto around 1.7G in Formula Vee, that being at Cadwell Park over the hill usually. These cars generally aren't far off Formula Ford grip at the mo. Mind you, it's a different story down the straights.

  • Dear Micheal,

I race gokarts, and i got pick for the formula vee challenge to become the new driver of Franczak, the test is on novenber 5 and it will be my first time in a formula vee car. I was wondering how many gears you run because Franczak said that i need to learn to drive manual. BTW GREAT RACING GOOD LUCK TO YOU IN THE FUTURE!
