  • Solar calculators work just as well as battery operated calculators. The solar panels take up less space than batteries do. They operate even without direct light. Why would solar power plants be less efficient that nuclear power plants? That's zany. I wouldn't even want a nuclear powered calculator. It's a small-scale example. Solar energy needs to be brought down to earth as a real option. Let's face it, it's the most rational choice. We just have to figure out a perceivable way that pertains.
