  • I'm taking Milk Thistle capsules made by "Solgar Vitamin and Herb Co." I didn't know there was a Milk Thistle Tea, are the capsules just as beneficial?

  • read the Milk Thistle chapter of Lloyd's book from the link in the More info Box to the right.

  • Bring 2 quarts water to boil,

    Rinse 1/2 cup dandelion root,

Add dandelion root to boiling water,

    Return to full rolling boil,

Cover, turn off heat, let brew for 1 hour.

    Strain with fine strainer.

Drink and enjoy! Put the rest in the refrigerator.

  • I harvest the roots, clean and cut in thin pieces. I lay a layer of wax paper on a cookie sheet and set the oven on 250 and roast the roots until toasted brown and dry. This makes an excellent tea which has a similar taste to coffee.

  • Is this guy pissed! LOL

  • nice guy. clean up diet, drink plenty pure water, especially with lemon juice and herbal teas (ie dandelion, milk thistle, etc) and supplement with a good antioxidants, zinc, and B vitamins. No more dehydrated fatty processed diet or risky sexual/drug behavior! you'll know when you're better when you FEEL better and when things like caffeine don't aggravate you. It generally aggravates you because your liver can't process it. Same for those who get hypomanic on omega 3, etc.

  • @7222rsj Interferon does not work well in stage 4 cirrhosis. When one has diabetes they should not use interferon. Interferon will not work and it may well prove fatal.

Call my office for some guidence.
