Stock Rubicon in a Mud Hole

This was taken on "New Salem" trail at the 2008 Two Rivers Jeep Club 4x4 Blast.

The hill is pretty steep with very deep ruts, due to the stock tire height, I had to stay out of the ruts till the hole at the bottom. I hit the hole hard to carry momentum through it, then waited to get traction on the other side. You can hear me bouncing off the rev limiter in first gear, auto transmission and I forgot to take it out of "1" after crawling down the hill! I did not get traction until I let off the gas a little as the rollbar touched the tree. After I got to the top, I realized I forgot to lock the front and rear axles!

@geddlype It is from a company called "Go There Engineering". We get questions about it all the time as well. Sadly the company went out of business several years ago. Here is an internet archive of when their site launched back in 2001.

@MRFord352 yes its still considered stock. you can lift it up to 3" and still considered stock rig

Say you bought a brand new stock rig,and change the factory tires to the same size mud tires,can you still call it stock,Even tho the new mud tires are the same size as the stock tires?....oh nice jeep by-the-way.

I thought all rubicons said rubicon on the front fenders ? the one in the video does not! My 2011 Unlimited Rubicon does! OK sorry it does! My mistake
