@fortgreene31 honestly i wouldnt even attempt it. from what im told each piranha should at least have a minimum of 20 gallons perfish. for instance i have 6 reds in my 80 gallon and thats pushing it. i believe even 5 in ur 55 gallon is to small. i guess as long as they are not aggresive towards each other then its ok. i wouldnt add another piranha unless u get a bigger tank.

i would like to know could you mix your pygos. I have 5 red bellies that are 3 inches each. I would love to get a carribe or a piraya. I have a 55 gallon tank. I wanna know if they all could live in the same tank.
