Trepak (Russian Dance) from The Nutcracker (Mariinsky Ballet

I'm playing this with my grade 10 band :D

The choreography is different as well as the costumes, but it doesn't mean it sucks. Everybody has their own version. Just shut up and enjoy it.

my band at school has to do this song, and it doesnt sound anything like it.. i actually thought it was a different song O_o

I love the piece, but I've been watching all the movements performed by this company and honestly, the choreography sucks.

I love Mariinsky! (the theater itself)!!! I can't really say mcuh about the choreography in this vid.

Just saw the Kirov's version of Nutcracker in Los Angeles last week. The most morose and boring Nutcracker I've ever seen. The Kirov has seen better days. You know there is a problem when the very company that premiered the Nutcracker can't put together an interesting Russian Trepak!

i love this peace, the bass has a decent part.
