Dreaming of Monsters

Ok, so this video took a hell of a lot of hassle. Seriously. Only Stripy could tell you how many times I've changed the story/ideas/song etc. I kept loosing inspiration and failing, but I managed it, in the end. I was gonna (at one of the half million stages) do the entire song, but didnt have time in the end, hence the 'To Be Continued' at the end. I fully intend to finish this properly (there's a lot more story to come) but this'll have to do for now.

NOTES:
-Yes, Aeris has a low voice. That's Bella (Kristen Stewart). Don't worry, you get used to it. I'm so used to it now that when I watched the real scene the other day it sounded really squeaky and fake.
-Sorry for the huge change of mood - I added the intro on midway through coz it needed a little more explaination, but it doesn't flow amazingly well. Goes from horror to cheesy lovey-dovey stuff. Sorry.
-It's called Dreaming Of Monsters because originally I was going to include the line "So this what you dream about, becoming a monster." "I dream about being with you forever." In the end I took it out, but the name kind of stuck.

This vid was inspired by twilight, and so the feel and situation of it are very similar, even if the story's quite different. All the audio clips are from twilight, (except the Kingdom hearts ones at the beginning).

The story of the vid is pretty clear, but there are a few pointers below. I'm not gonna write out the whole thing now, but I will when I finish the whole vid.

Marlene = Younger Aeris, and Denzel = Younger Genesis, and Tifa = Aeris's Mum.

Aeris and Genesis were friends when they were kids, but Aeris hasn't seen Genesis for years. He went away for unknown reasons when they were teens. (Eventually there'll be 3 time periods for them - Marlene & Denzel when they're kids (voiced by Kairi and Sora), Aeris from Kingdom hearts when they're teens (haven't got a Genesis for that time yet) and normal Aeris and Genesis in the present.)

Aeris is tending her flowers at night in the church where she lives, when she hears the beating of wings. Looking up, she sees, for the first time in years, her friend Genesis.

(A bit of background info is needed here: Midgar is not the Midgar we know. The war with Wutai was Shinra's downfall, and everything's on the up now Shinra's gone. Sure, citizens of Midgar have gone back to living simply and with little or no power, but they're happy enough. Hojo is dead, but his experiments are still on the loose. Soldier, though once thought of as heroes, is a name that now sparks fear in the hearts of the citizens of Midgar, and the One-Winged Angels are worst of all. Monsters, people call them. They're being disposed of, one by one. Slowly but surely, they're catching and killing all of Hojo's monsters...)

So when Aeris sees that her childhood friend, Genesis, is one of them too, she's broken. Memories flood her mind, memories of a time when it was just the two of them, not a care in the world. The perfect image seems to shatter when she sees him like that.
