A newscast picked on on Mark's comments about Facebook leading to narcissim and self-absorption. Mark Dice is a media analyst, social critic, political activist, and author who, in an entertaining and educational way, gets people to question our celebrity obsessed culture, and the role the mainstream media plays in shaping our lives.

Mark frequently stirs up controversy from his commentaries, protests, and boycotts, and has repeatedly been featured in major media outlets around the world.

Several of Mark's YouTube videos have gone viral, earning him a mention on ABC's The View, Fox News' O'Reilly Factor, TMZ.com, and other mainstream media outlets. Mark has also been featured in (or attacked in) the New York Post's Page Six, Rolling Stone Magazine, USA Today, The New York Daily News, and in major papers in Pakistan and Iran.

Mark Dice appears in several documentary films including Invisible Empire, and The 9/11 Chronicles, and was featured on the History Channel's Decoded. He enjoys enlightening zombies, as he calls them, (ignorant people) about the mass media's effect on our culture, pointing out Big Brother's prying eyes, and exposing elite secret societies along with scumbag politicians and their corrupt political agendas.

He also habitually calls into several top-rated talk shows, including the Sean Hannity Show, Glenn Beck, and Michael Savage, and verbally battles with the hosts on various issues since he has never been asked to be a guest on them as of yet. Audio of some of these calls are then posted online.

The term "fighting the New World Order" is used by Mark to describe some of his activities, and refers to his and others' resistance and opposition (The Resistance) to the overall system of political corruption, illegal wars, elite secret societies, mainstream media, Big Brother and privacy issues; as well as various economic and social issues.

Dice and his supporters sometimes refer to being "awake" or "enlightened" and see their knowledge of these topics as part of their own personal Resistance to the corrupt New World Order. This Resistance involves self-improvement, self-sufficiency, personal responsibility and spiritual growth.

Mark Dice is the author of several books on current events, secret societies and conspiracies, including his newest book, Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True. (Available only at Infowars.com) He lives in San Diego, California.

All of Mark's books (except Big Brother) are in stock on Amazon.com and are also available on the Kindle reader. You may be able to order the books into a store where it can be sent in a few days. If not, then Amazon.com is your best bet.

BIG BROTHER: THE ORWELLIAN NIGHTMARE COME TRUE - Mark Dice details actual high-tech spy gadgets, mind-reading machines, emerging artificial intelligence systems, and government projects that seem as if they came right out of George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.

THE ILLUMINATI: FACTS & FICTION - Separating history from Hollywood and showing why tales of the secret society won't die.

THE NEW WORLD ORDER: FACTS & FICTION - A look at the evidence, claims, and conspiracy theories and a journey down the rabbit hole to The New World Order.

  • The only truly legitimate reasons I can see for using Facebook might be as a professional page for small businesses etc, or in some circumstances to organize an event or get a political or social message out there.

However, the majority of Facebook usage appears to be by people who are building a sort of digital shrine to themselves and publicly discussing the ephemera of their lives. Facebook then sells much of this information to governments and large corporations.

  • Facebook is a virtual earth...and just like on "non-virtual" Earth...balance is key (although i admit i need to remind myself of this, esp. on weekends!)

  • Surely it doesn't count if you use it as a simple communications tool. It's easier to use than most other chat protocols and messaging services; I even use it for business communications. I do, however, see your point about the way most people use it. :/

  • I used to be totally consumed with Facebook along with the games (Farmville, Frontierville, etc.) Now I use it to post videos regarding the agenda of the NWO and etc. I hope my FB friends and family are paying attention.

  • yeah you are one of the biggest morons if you put your face on facebook ! suspect you;ll be taking the vaccines too huh lewhora?

  • Myspace was actually better just like AOL/AIM was good, yet they all faded but watch FB & Tw remain ironically? government-data bank collecting sights.. FB in particular is finally the perfect gov social forum so they can watch everyone.. everything else was legit kinda. But now ppl can't live without facebook. They are reverse-social engineering this gens cell phone twitch- texting crowd. subtle opression. Fit in, or feel MORE left out the system. 2011= society conditioning almost completed:-/

  • @TheRickyp83 We shall see, but one cannot but wonder, what will or could take its place. I enjoy the shareing of pictures, and the smart, stupid, idiotic and sometimes troubling comments. I am not on it as much as I am with youtube, but once or twice a week is good for me.

  • @lencho234 ...well of course its being used for advertising, companies would be stupid not to use it for that....free advertisement, cant beat that.....thats one of the main reasons fb is worth so much right now...they did the same with myspace....trust me, give it a few years and something else will come along to replace fb..nothing stays alive thriving on the internet for too long.

  • @TheRickyp83 I already see that fb is being used as a advertising tool. Then there are those people that say they want to be friends and you have no idea who they are. It is better than a commercial spot because if you get the attention of friends with a good idea there is no wonder to it at all, just excitment for the one that scores. Did I make scense?
