I love this scene too, but I can't say it's my favorite scene for the simple reason that every scene in this movie is my favorite. In my opinion, "On the Waterfront" is about as close to a perfect film as it gets. There is absolutely no waste. Every scene is memorable in it's own right. Every actor is perfectly cast. Every word of dialogue rings true -- and in what I consider his best performance, Marlon Brando showed everybody, then and now, how it's done. Perfection.

"From where you stand maybe, but I standing over here now....I am glad what I done to you...you hear that ...I am glad what I done to you...and I am gonna keep on doing that till I get...." His anger is his most b'ful part, its righteous, its full of rage and its honest.

Every ruler on this earth, politician, big corp boy, dictator, the pope, every power hungry whacko should hear Brando's words, and despair... "you're nothing."
