Shambala's - Jiang the Jumper!

On January 6, 2007, Jiang impressed all adoptive parents by jumping high in the sky for his femur bone!

Shambala is Tippi Hedren's baby... sitting at the tip of the Mojave Desert in California. It's a wild animal preserve serving as a haven for endangered exotic big cats. Most of them were pets at one time and have never lived in the wild.

Tippi has created an amazing sanctuary that provides a dignified life for these wonderful creatures. In the words of Tippi Hedren, it is part of her mission to "rescue exotic feli
nes born in the United States to be sold as pets".

Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful video of my dear Jiang Tiger. So far he has not repeated this wonderful leap for his femur bone as he knows we all have our cameras ready for him. It is hard to believe that I have been at Shambala for 20 years now. Time flies. I have had the hornor of being surrounded by some of the most wonderful Wild Ones in my 20 years. Jiang is just one of them. Kara Black Leopardess is another one.
