  • Nice video. However, for the record, not all of us yanks like the noisy chrome look . Prefer a low-key, classy look myself. Cheers from California

  • kinda that cheers sounded more of a uk word :P

any way, chrome for me is good in only one way because th metal will not rust...

  • so what, no ones interested in the porsche targa ?

    this sux kinda...

It's not like an old 2.7S is a highly strung exotic. It's no more advanced than a family car of the day, just layed out differently. Fram already make filters for alot of manufacturers worldwide, just stamping a different name on it than "Fram". Chances are that this filter is 100 times better than what it came with new.

Nice car though. Even if it was too nice to be on the show to begin with, one more de-americanized 911 is always a good thing! Those bumpers are FOUL!

  • A FRAM oil filter? On a 911 ? FRAM is junk.

  • that is one tall english bastard

  • I "like" this english show but give me a break. Doesn't come close to figuring out if it's a 'good' P-car or not. Nothing about the plastic chain tensioners in 2.7's that wear out, not about battery box rot, etc. Not to mention the only 'real' repair done to the car was by a transmission shop for $1500 (or $2,500 USD). That's saving money? Now if Ed had rebuilt it himself I'd be impressed--b/c I did and I'm not a mechanic!

  • They changed the front bumper for a Euro spec one with the smaller indicator lenses, they didn't say they had done that...

  • uncle fester wants a porshe!!! lol

  • @tpaladino well it's a lot of money offcourse but if it lasts for another 20 years whats the problem... i'd rather spend one time a few thousend euros (or dollars) and having a great riding sportscar...

  • That's still $3000 US dollars for a rebuilt box with a trade in. Yeesh.
