  • does the absolute value equations mean to multiply like you do with parenthesis

    ex. ill just use this symbol [ ..for the brackets

    4[ 2y-7 ] = -14 PLEASE HELP

  • x = -4 would not be an answer to the equation because a variable can't be a negative amount of numbers away from zero.

  • |8x-1|=6x how do i do that?

  • My teacher just tells us to copy the board but doesn't really explain anything at all. She rushs a lot and at the end mostly the whole class is confused.
