I wish this company would come clean about their "transmission lines. They (apart from the small speakers) are simply NOT transmission line speakers. If you look inside the FB1, I was surprised to see the same arrangement as TDL's RTL4. As for the GB1 well God knows what that is supposed to be. Neither by the way come close to the ATC SCM40's when it come to dynamics and even bass actually as well.

Seems like a waste of power for that big beefy Bryston driving those smallish 2 way speakers.

Stunning system mate, truly stunning. I'd love to see it with your new OB1's.

nice system & cool song!
if you get a chance put a clip of the new PMC's?

Just bought theses speakers in walnut as well, but think I saw you had sold yours when I googled fb1i walnut images. What have you got now as I also have Bryson pre/power amps and am curious what has bettered the PMC!

where do u bought that speakers?
kuro1080p--- I replaced the PMC FB1i's with PMC OB1i's because I had the opportuinity to trade for a beautiful used pair. The OB1'i is a more costly three way model, so it has slightly deeper bass and a bit fuller midrange. But really, you can't go wrong with either of these speakers models.

Great sound, are you also using special cables from pre- to cd player?

@Sonicfrontiers2 - The cables between CD player and preamp and from preamp to amplifier are Belden balanced cables. Since I posted the video I've upgraded the speakers to the PMC OB1i's. Costly, but fuller midrange and a bit more bass. They sound great with all types of music. Probably my last speaker upgrade.

did I see a Bryston preamp there?

@160NAD
The preamp is a Simaudio Moon P-5 which sits above the Bryston 4B SST amp.. It has a separate power supply which sits next to the amp.

The song playing is "Misty Blue" sung by Dorothy Moore.
