New York City Night Flight

If you stay below 1,100 feet over the Hudson River, you don't have to talk to a single controller. After going to Orange County (NY), my instructor suggested taking the scenic route home. He watched for traffic when I had the camera running since it is VERY busy in this little corridor. Flying is one of the greatest freedoms we have and I encourage anyone who ever had interest to pursue it. You can't put a price on a trip like this...other than rental costs of course :)
