In response to my advert here

Adam Richlin and friends made some super English teaching videos for only $2 a video. Very good value. This is one example.

I would like many more. There is no need for two people (though it is nice), the question text (though it is nice too) or the high vision camera (though it is very nice).

Adam's email address is quietlight at gmail dot com.

These gentlemen are or should be a comic duo.

  • Sorry if the above post sounded nasty timtak1, I see you're really trying hard to help your students! Maybe you could keep the reduced speed but add in some natural facial expression and/or gesture (or at least have them look at each other when speaking)? Keep up the hard work and good luck with your teaching!

  • Good idea.

    Thanks.

  • Maybe I don't get this video either but if you keep giving them dead pan robotic crap like THIS, their English will NEVER get better!

  • Um...oh. Maybe you are right. As I say above, the students find this easier, at their level. But you are right that it would be better to have a bit more expression in there.

    this was so funny!! thanx!!

    i wanna see more clips!!

    these guys are so hilarious!!!

  • haha, I wish my Japanese Sensei would use some footage of natives speaking for our tests! This would be better than deciphering mumbled recordings.

  • These guys are flippin hilarious! Are there any other videos from them?

  • You should make your paid actors do a tight shot just of the head. People pick up facial movements and sounds better this way they can emulate/mirror the actors easier.
