  • @MrPlainsteel its just the sound of a Stratocaster and a Fender Amplifier played by the best guitarist in history

  • I am so diggin' Reese's solo, as I'm a jazz pianist. He played plenty of jazz licks throughout that solo of his. This was his song that night. Stevie let him go at it. I love Stevie's playing however. Always have since the day I started listening to him until the day I die.

  • I've played for some years now but,I still can't get over how he strums over 3 or so strings(dampened)only playing the single note he wants;all the time every time.

    LEGEND!!!

  • Stevie and the whole band, just stomped a Texas size mudhole into the version of Weather...Smokin!!

  • @reedha actually stevie had a amp that made that sound like a univibe

  • @soultaker1083 hey im a guitarist but theres nothing rong with me liken reese

  • @annolenno he actually started his drug recovery in late 86, so he's sober here.

  • He doesn't look that good here. He was in the middle of his drugs period at this video. I've heard better of him. He's not in tone here...

  • SRV IS BLESSED WITH A GIFT FROM GOD, NO DOUBT. PRAISE GOD!!!

  • god i love the switch from cold shot to couldnt stand the weather! just my favorite!!!

  • I could listen to this a 1000 times and I'm still just SO SO impressed. As with all his performances i never grow tired. Thank you Stevie for being an infinite wonder.

  • Wow!!! I've always loved this song and this is why. Not only is Stevie Ray awesome, his band is so tight an Reece Waters goes off. Loved the seamless transition between his solo and then back to Stevie Ray to finish it all off. Stunning!!
