  • I'm starting a collection now and I think I'll buy mostly figures from the vintage collection, BUT the VC is not available in my country, plus the movie heroes are pretty cheap compared to others action figures in general, so: what MH figure would you suggest me to buy that could fit in well with the vintage figures, in order to spare some money? THX!!!

  • @mnsor79 Well the Qui Gon & Obi Wan figures from the Movie Heroes line are the same figures in the VC line except they don't have a cloack so I would get those 2. Maybe a couple of the regular Clone Troopers as well as a few Shock Troopers if you plan to army build. I hope this helps. MTFBWY my friend :)

  • @Nabil6901 Thank you!!! You've been very helpfull. I was thinking to get the shock trooper, since the clone trooper with jet-pack seems to have no elbow articulation... Oh and R2 if i can't find the VC version at a decent price...

    Thanks!

  • @mnsor79 Your welcome, good luck!

  • I've gotten two each of the Movie Heroes Battle Droid. Two tan-colored, two of the red variants. I know they're technically crappier than the Vintage Collection droid, but I'm kind of a sucker for Battle Droids so I went ahead and got them anyways. My only real issue with them is the huge, goofy-looking projectile gun that comes with them. It's taken from the Clone Wars line and looks kind of stupid when given to a movie-style action figure, but the figures themselves aren't that bad.

  • @TheDarthEddie hey that's cool I would like to say they would be cheaper then the VC ones but I guess no SW figure is cheaper then VC anymore..... congrats on those figures

  • I love the clone trooper!

  • @TheDarthEddie yes indeed.

  • @Nabil6901 100% agreed, bro! The Dagobah Landing Luke looks more like Mark Hamill than almost any other Luke action figure ever made. It's one of my favorite Vintage Collection figures. And even though the Endor(Trench Coat) Han has turned into a bad pegwarmer he does look like Harrison. Hasbro has proven they can get likenesses right if they try hard enough. They just need to apply a little more effort with characters like Obi-Wan...both young and old.

  • @TheDarthEddie Exactly I agree with that too but what they also need to work on is his actual face, they've actually made some figures look like the live counterparts for ex: VC Ep III Anakin looks a lot like Hayden, Luke (Dagobah Landing) looks a lot like Mark,Han (Trench Coat) like Harrison so come on Hasbro! know what I mean
