  • I'm 38 years old and I'm not even supposed to have heard of this song in theory, but it was on a mixed compilation CD I bought a few years ago and instantly was hooked on it.

  • @landrykkb I'm 33 years old and I posted all these records.

  • @ILoveJenni47 I'm a romantic sap at heart so that's why I love this song.Thanks for posting,by the way!

  • @landrykkb Me too!

  • Its almost impossible to comment on such beautiful music. Oh to be young again! Life really was slower and I think it was easier to appreciate the fun and the challenges the days held. As I get older I realize why life isn't meant to go on forever. And I understand why people who are content with life are able to appreciate all the simple things that can bring us the kind of joys we never forget..

  • The best version ever.

  • .....great singer but boring song.

  • One of the classiest songs of all time.

  • I was around 18, going to college in 1968 and 1969 when this song was still going strong on the local radio stations. I highly respect Ed Ames for his career, both in acting and singing. Have always liked him. Thanks for posting the song.

  • As beautiful today as it was when it came out.

  • I had just graduated from high school when this was released. I loved it then, and I still do! Thanks for posting this beautiful song.

  • Still love Ed Ames

  • My Love and I just got back together and it is now my favorite Love song....

  • I wonder who the woman is that's on the album cover with Mr. Ames? In 1967 she looks kije she was probably 30-35 years of age which would make her near 80 today. I wonder where she is ?

  • I still have this album. This is one of my very favorite songs ever and Ed too, is one of my very favs. I saw him in person in Anderson Indiana when Ayr Way opened a store there. He came for that and I along with the kids for Tishamingo/Daniel Boones friend stood in line to see him and have him autograph this and another album.

  • @mohsin1054 I especially feel very romantic these days because there's someone I feel very deeply about and even though there's a very good chance I could get hurt,I'm only too willing to take that risk because nothing about love comes easy. The easiest thing in the world for anybody to do is walk away out of fear they'll get hurt, but I would never live with myself if I did that.
