Snow Plows Driving off Ramp

We got 28 inches of snow and more is coming Tuesday . Plows are stuck and the snow is so great that they have to use backhoes to clear ramps and huge snow mounds.

Yeah , They hired a sewers company to clear my neighborhood streets, they used 6 skidsteers and 2 huge front loader ( i have 2 vids of it up )

The loader was VDOT. Yes , a lot is contracted out but I do see quite a few VDOT plows.

all the snow plows in those trucks are from vdot. and yes vdot needs bigger plows to move so much snow.

Too bad vdot doesn't have their own equipment. They have to contract out the snow removal and you can see each one of those trucks was different and had cheap plows on the front. Just contractors trying to plow snow but cannot push it because they do not have the right equipment.

Nice I love seeing backhoes plowing here they use plows for the maine roads and then eiher more plows for neighborhoods or a road grater and front end loader
