Christian Military Orders

Over the last 1000 years many Christian military orders were established throughout Europe in an effort to fight off invading Muslim, Mongol and Pagan invaders and to preserve the Christian faith and European culture. Many of these Christian Knightly orders are now defunct or take a non-military stance.

@berserkpaladin1234 Unofficial Christian militias are springing up all over the world, mostly in parts of Asia and Africa where they are in conflict with hostile muslim neighbors. I can see many more being formed in the future if Islamic extremism isn't dealt with effectively.

@germanx01 You need to read more about the history of ancient civilizations & empires . Ancient Greeks & Romans thought they were the pinnacle of human civilizations of all times in all walks of life , they said about their civilizations what you say today about the western one , now their civilizations lie in ruins & their cultures are only in text books . Their military might & technological achievements didn't maintain their supremacy , they fell to the realm of the dark ages !!

@zerconium678 maybe, but the christian culture our nations are superior in every categorie, thats a fact, no religion is so mighty as the christian, we have the most power and the european and north american goverments will do everything to keep it. I do not want to critic your religion, but the christian are the no. 1 thats fact.please tell me if you have arguments for the different.

@orome21 You probably misunderstood me, I agree with your comment but religious fanatics in Abrahamic religions are the main culprit for creating this hatred and divide among the followers. They use religion as a shield and some kind of defense mechanism to hide their sins.

@akash365 you dont seem to understand much if you believe that, and if you are refering to the differences in the bible and the koran then you are just shooting at the air, they both talk of roughly the same message, slight differences occur and overall translation by people corrupts the original message. Relgion is meant to unite not divide, let us all live in peace instead of arguing the finer points, in an ideal society we just agree to disagree.
