@gathonar How do you know a creative product won't have the same problem? It sounds like your case has a grounding issue but thats about all I can say. I used to also hear interference noise but that all changed when I got my D2X.

Just installed one of these as my onboard Realtech sound card was picking up mouse movment interferance noise, guess what it did no bit of diffrence the ASUS Zonar DX is also picking up the very same mouse interferance noise, it looks like I should have got a creative sound card as this is a failure as a product for me.

what is the diference between the dx and the dx/xd does anybody know? also do the connectors at the back of the card light up ?
