  • Hi! if you have a point clouds ready to get a mesh is very easy, just go in filters-remeshing...-Surface Reconstruction:Poisson, and Meshlab will create the mesh ;-)

  • Very interesting model. Thank you for sharing. I'd love to be able to see the commands used in MeshLab. Any chance you can post just that part as a tutorial? Even in HQ, the text is too small to be able to read and follow.

  • thank you very much! I am starting my winter break right now, but in January I'll post the pipeline about all the commands in MeshLab no prob, the process is very simple and fast!

  • I stumbled upon this video while working on my own point cloud data of a historical site, and I am still trying to figure out how to get the mesh from the points! I just found out about Meshlab, but I am very excited! I'm a graduate student in anthropology and actually want to do this kind of stuff for my career, so I am very happy that I found this video!

  • Nice project. Augmented Reality all the way :)

  • I agree with n8craig, very cool. I'm also interested in the MeshLab pipeline.

    Keep up the innovation! -Mark

  • @cyberscimmia I hope that you have a relaxing and enjoyable break. With great anticipation, I will be looking forward to learning the workflow that you employed. I am new to MeshLab, and very eager to learn. Your video have definitely stimulated my interest. Regards, Nathan
