Donovan Mcnabb Traded to Washington Redskins

Donovan McNabb, the longtime Quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles, has been traded to the Washington Redskins for a 2nd Round Draft Pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. In 1999, the Eagles selected McNabb out of Syracuse University where he played football and Basketball. Instantly, the moment he stepped on that stage and held up the midnight green eagles jersey, he was welcomed with an arousing mixture of jeers and boos. The fans were hoping to get runningback Ricky WIlliams, who would later be drafted to Miami. Ever since then, the fans have had a love-hate relationship with the ever so luckless seeming quarterback. McNabb was the greatest QB to ever suit up for the eagles. He holds the Eagles all-time passing yard record with a total of 32,873 total yards. McNabb lead his Eagles to 5 NFC championship games and went to one supperbowl, only to lose to the New England Patriots in the 04-05 season. Donovan's time spent in philly went from 99-00 to 09-10. The last quarterback to start before McNabb took the starting job was Doug Pederson in 98-99. Some will miss him, and some are glad he is gone. Good luck to McNabb in DC.
