  • What do you think of the sr-9c?

  • @mjp1911 I have not fired one but I have handled one and I like it.

  • I don't mean to sound like a smart azz but what purpose does it serve to remove this disconnect if only to have the gun accidently go off when you think it's empty. I mean is it just so you can feed it a single round at a time? I guess Im a safety type guy Yes I love the external safety on my SR9c. and I like the one in the chamber indicator .

  • @Gordondon Dude its just a thing that will not let the gun fire with the magazine removed, 90% of semi-auto handguns do NOT have this, and I dont need it.

  • To answer your question about taking a dump...

Yes, I've taken a dump so big that my bathroom scale detected a 2 pound difference in my body weight, and I could tighten my belt another hole. It's the second best feeling in the world. The only thing I can think would beat it is when you shoot your tightest group yet.

  • @humans4targets2 A lot of people state it has a nicer trigger. I've never shot an SR9, but my SR9c is nice.

  • just removed the Mag Disconnect from my LC9. Its not a big deal but I dont need it.

  • Bought one last week, thanks for showing me this little trick.

  • Does removing the disconnect improve the trigger any? I've heard it does.

  • @Gordondon

A gun owner should never "think" their firearm is empty, and it should never "accidentally go off." Period. If a person leaves any chance whatsoever for either of these to happen, they never knew how to handle their weapon to begin with. Ruger puts in the mag safeties to make their product marketable in Communist states such as California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Also serves law enforcement purposes theoretically allowing an officer to drop his magazine if his gun is taken

  • Great video!

  • Thanks for the scoop one less sr9c with the political disconnect.

  • this dumping comment reminds me of pete from the armory channel
