Lesotho- Khabo Clinic Support Group Sings m2m Song

For HIV-positive women in Lesotho music is therapeutic. It helps them cope with their new-found statuses, it brings them together to stand up to the stigma, and allows them to shed their fear of the disease. Music has given these women support.

One of the most popular songs among these women is the 'mothers2mothers song'. The video above was recorded at Khabo clinic in Lesotho. The people are members of the mothers2mothers support group and are dressed in traditional garments. The 'mothers2mothers song', whose lyrics are below, is sung at the beginning and end of every m2m support groups, both in this clinic and others around Lesotho.
