its not all nicks fault, the passenger made a decision to get in the car and not where a seat belt. yea nicks spoiled and has like a year of driving expierience, and infact they were racing johns "the passenger" friend who was in the viper, they were both 4-5 years older than nick and should know what is right and wrong and safe or dangerous being adults. so u cant just blame 1 person here 3 people were involved , and 2 of them are adults and should of handled the situation differently

I feel bad for Nick. Nick didn't force him to get into the car! Nick was young and young people do stupid things! He had a license! It wasn't like a joyride or something! The people they were racing were adults. They are at fault. Nick wasn't old enough to make a decision like that, he was looking for a good time & so was john! If john was driving & nick was in the passenger seat, you all would've blamed john. Nick has to live with the reality of what he did to his best friend forever.
