  • Haider you sure are a great singer of all times ... love yours songs even more love your voice even more love YEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeehaaaaaaah

  • he isnt a medical doctor and honesty speaking he hasnt progressed much with all the technology at his disposal, he just loves to play it safe. whats even more interesting is that after so many years of singing and composing, he has become a student of a punjab artist called Harjeet Mehndi.

  • @MaiForosh

and he is a great dancer, medical doctor, and comes from a very famous family of afghanistan (the typical afghan claim)....

  • @MaiForosh

hehehe....good point with fact vs. opinion....you are correct!

  • @MaiForosh Which one of the following can you dispute as not being fact:

    a. This is one of his best performances.

    b. Haider Salim has gray hair.

    c. He can sing no better (in other words has not increased his musical knowledge) than what he was doing 30 years ago.

Are you just being argumentative to prove no point, it is OK to admire H. Salim, but it is not OK, to deny the fact that he has had no schooling in music. Just buying a harmonium and practice with friends on weekends is not enough.

  • @sarmalim What you stated is what normal people would call an " opinion", not a fact. You might think that what you say is a fact, but the simple " fact" is that your views are opinions, just like the other millions of opinions that we afghans throw around on a daily basis.

  • @MaiForosh , Brother/Sister, You don't have to have a PHD in mathematics to know that 2+2=4. What I had stated was a simple fact. Unfortunately, we only judge singers by their God-given voice, (throat) which serves as a musical instrument, like a Rubab, for instance. Who do you think is more skillful at playing Rubab: a person with a best rubab but little training, or a person with an average Rubab with years of training with various teachers and many classes in music theory? I rest my case.

  • @sarmalim Yes you are right, since you have released 100 albums in 30 years, composed over 500 songs, taught 100000 students, recieved 20 medals of music, accomplished your ustadee..oh wait, you are afghan, you have not achieved anything in llife, so it is your duty to show people that you have the answers to every subject in the world..BRAVO!!!! Can you become the president?

  • Haidar Salim Sahib is one of the best singer in Afghan Music..this song proves it.

  • This is one of his best performances. Now that he has gray hair, he can sing no better than what he did 30 years ago. What a shame! No improvements.
