Folgers Jingle Contest 2011 - Tim Snider Band

This was our jingle for the "Best Part Of Wakin' Up" Folgers Coffee Jjingle contest 2011. We didn't make the finals, but hope you like it! Just want to thank all my buddies who volunteered as crew members in the making of it! Y'all rock! Please forward this to those you think might enjoy it!

I'd like to dedicate it to my beautiful daughter Mallory who is growin' up way too fast! I love you, sweetie.

Some production notes. Didn't plan on the rain! I was planning on a golden-hour sunset shoot, but the rain moved in. I was ready to bail, but my crew convinced me to keep going and use it as a creative element. We would've shot more stuff that afternoon (like my daughter and me sipping coffee) if we wouldn't have been drenched. Shot with a Canon 7D and a RED camera.

it told a too-hard hitting story, with an actual developed plot, that it actually detracts from the coffee product itself. Then, it just eventually puches you in the face, making you feel like, what the??....just sayin

What if you like coffee and you hate your father? or didn't have one? What does this have to do with Folgers?

@moahnass Wow. I'm sure there are lots of people in that situation. And, if you're one of them, my heart really goes out to you. But I was trying to tie the special moments I've enjoyed over the years with my daughter with the Folgers brand. For some, they really connect with that. Hard to please everybody.

@moahnass cc to @tsnider - what a condescending, little piece of shit remark (both of them) you shot tim's way (btw -good choice for a youtube name - moahn"ASS"). this wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that tim's entry got 3 times the views yours did? if you understood his tie between good memories and the product, why ask him about some random disconnect? at least we can understand tim's lyrics. can't say too much for marble mouth "moan-ASS" . btw-who was the pitchy one in yours?

I've already chatted with you on FB, Tim, but I'll formally post up on yor vid. Amazing sounding jingle, really well done video clip! Great singing, melody, performing, everything. I can't imagine what the Folgers folks were smoking to allow them to pass on this jingle (maybe they smoke Folgers coffee beans) but if you say they have, then we believe ya ;) Well, Tim, you definitely deserve to win or at least be semifinalist, not only are you a talented performer but a heck of a nice guy too!

loved it but until the end, coffee wasn't part of it..should have had daddy sipping his first cup with baby girl in mama's lap...having a cup to go with you at graduation..etc.. always showing you drinking folgers :)..anyway good job tho...the band is great!
