All has to do with your mixing and mastering, as well as having a decent microphone. If you want good sounding vocals, learn about compression and EQ'ing. Don't be afraid to experiment a bit and see what works, like panning your vocals hard left and right, and recording center vocals. Lots of tutorials on youtube regarding this area of expertise.
