45 minutes is normal. What people need to understand is that just because you can see the plane, doesn't mean you can just walk on board. The pilots have to calculate weight and adjust the fuel on board, the speed they will use to takeoff, etc etc. Flight attendants also have work to do, they aren't just waitresses. If they let late people on, they start again and everyone is late. Will you be happy if they let latecomers on and it makes you miss your connecting flight...

When you pay $28 on your return ticket to sydney, dont expect a red carpet to be layed out. Tiger are great! ... if you know what your getting.
