Short profile of a youth leadership program designed to unite students of different faiths and cultural backgrounds via problem solving workshops and artistic collaboration. Specific emphasis is placed on the interactions between Palestinian and Israeli participants. (Note: The first ninety seconds are unfortunately omitted due to my incompetence with DVD recorders.) Below is the episode synopsis from the broadcasting commission's website (www.interfaithbroadcasting.com): "The special visits Artsbridge, a conflict resolution leadership program that brings Israeli and Palestinian high school students together to inspire dialogue. Each July, students are invited to Boston, Mass. to collaborate on an art project. Part of the collaboration is meant to encourage new ways of communicating with one another. The program''s founder, Debbie Nathan, is a mental health counselor and art therapist who wanted to start a program that would help young people living in conflict. She says, "What I want the students to get out of working together through art is how to take a challenging situation where you may not agree...but still come together and work constructively to solve challenges and build something."

@XoXiTsCoRrInAXoX I recorded it from my local CBS affiliate. I searched for it online and haven't been able to find it in its entirety. However, I'd be more than happy to make a movie file of the complete special and upload it to megaupload so that you can download it. I'll try to work on it this weekend and send you a link then.
