  • I'm such a Beatles fan, that I feel guilty to say that I like Fiona's version a lot better. Her voice and tone are just so appropriate. Her beautiful, soulful, flowing voice just goes with the lyrics.

I always imagine this song playing as the world ends, and the song somehow making the destruction a beautiful thing. This version should be broadcast into space for the other planets to enjoy.

  • @xinathen # John Lennon – vocal, backing vocal, acoustic rhythm guitar, lead guitar

    # Paul McCartney – backing vocal, piano

    # George Harrison – backing vocal, sitar, tambura

    # Ringo Starr – maracas

All 4 were involved so you don't know what your talking about

  • @anythingisplenty omg I agree with everything you just said/wrote :D

  • As a great fun of the Beatles I have to say that this song, in his original version always seemed too mellifluous as well as too slow. I felt it was beautiful, but something was missing...

Listening to this Fionna Apple's version now I understand how it could be performed better.

    Thnks for uploading this!

  • Cool version from Fiona !

Spaced out visuals - cool !

  • This is such a beautiful version! <3 I could listen to it over and over again.

  • @xinathen dude the song is from 1969 on Let It Be, Beatles were still together.

  • WOW only 20 minutes to create that? You are very talented, thank you for sharing. I love the way it feels like an old tyme projector movie, not sure if you were trying for that and well it is cool! Love the pictures and the way the light fades on Mother Earth at the end!.

  • still think Seether did a really great cover of this song.
