bdweightexer: My first Tilda experience was Jarman's War Requiem. She was wonderful in that. Maybe the same thing you saw?

The speed is a bit fast, making the pitches higher, the vibrato faster and the timbre brighter. But Price is still one of the best.

Tilda is beautiful, Price sings like an exquisite bird from an outer space and Charpentier's music may account for a proof of God's existence. Man, I really like this video !

I saw this for the first time in College in '93. I never imagined that this woman would become such a big actress years later. Ditto with Banderas in Women on edge of a nervous breakdown.

Thanks so much for posting this. Yes, the best section of the generally disappointing "Aria". One of the best film versions of an aria, ever.
