Dead Rising Perfect Run 5-1: Citizen's Arrest

5-1:
I went ahead and skipped the process of bringing all eight survivors into the security room. All it does, really, is make the game's programmers look like idiots.

I have a while before "Girl Hunting" times out, so rescuing the next batch of eight survivors (I must be nuts) isn't going to be much of a problem.

"Above the Law" is a weird scoop. What they don't tell you is that if you leave "Above the Law" alone, Jo will gradually kill off her hostages. Kay will survive for as long as the case is open, but all the other women are fair game. Thus, it behooves you to run the hell out there and deal with the situation directly. I've managed to forestall Jo's appearance until around 2 PM by playing fast and loose with the number of survivors in play, which suggests the clock on "Above the Law" starts when it enters play, and not when it first becomes available.

With my chainsaw fu, Jo drops like a prom dress in a few seconds. My level 50 damage multiplier only makes this happen a little faster; the difference between level 20 Frank (which is about where I'd be if I was doing this as a cold run, assuming I was able to beat the convicts without dying) and level 50 Frank fighting Jo with the small chainsaws is pretty much academic. The broad has no game. My biggest mistake is charging her while she's still standing next to Kay; I could've pretty easily killed Kay with my chainsaw backswing.

For the record, if I was going for the Frank the Pimp achievement (where Frank must have eight female survivors following him at once), I probably would've played the last few clips a little differently. I would've rescued Pamela and Heather, then let "Hatchet Man" time out. After killing Ronald, Gordon, and Nick, I can save Sally and Jennifer, then wait around for "Above the Law" to start. Once I've defeated Jo, I've got all eight women in tow.

I had 27 survivors safe and then when I had killed Jo there was only Kay...

The one thing that bothers me the most is that i don't know how to save my game so that if i turn it off to go to bed or whatever.... i can turn it back on and it will load where i previously saved it. How do you do it. Everytime i die, i always start at the beginning.
