Mesa Boogie Lonestar - Channel 1 (Clean w/ breakup)

*This is strictly a tone demo, and is not meant to showcase technique, or musical ideas..

***This is a demo of the clean channel of my Lonestar.. The gain is set for breakup, which adds lots of mids, and seems to thicken and compress the tone.. It makes the channel sound much more like Ch.2, which is what I want! If I need a super clean tone, I can kick on the RC Booster (to suck some gain,) or simply use the volume knob on my guitar..

Suhr Pro Series S3 - Turbo Strobe Tuner - RC Booster - Andy Timmons BB Preamp - Lonestar Special - TC Electronics G-System
Planet Waves cables used.

Add all of this together, and you get GREAT tone.

There are no stomp boxes ON in this demo. This is pure lonestar, suhr, gsys!

Shogun777: thanks for this demo - I have to say this sounds like heaven. I initially wanted a Lone Star but have been looking at all kings of other demos and trying different amps. Listening to this, I'm beginning to think no other amp but the Lone Star Special will do it for me. It's like Fender but without so much ping and so WARM - there's those lovely creamy mids and lows. Mind you that Suhr is not exactly an average guitar. Nice gear.
