She kissed a girl. The granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, Mill Valley, California native Mariel Hemingway earned an Oscar nomination as Woody Allen's age-inappropriate love interest in Manhattan -- but it was her performance as a bisexual athlete in the 1982 feature Personal Best that really got people talking. She delivered more girl-on-girl action in a now-famous 1994 episode of the sitcom Roseanne, when she planted a kiss on the lips of star Roseanne Barr. These days, Hemingway is equally well known for her work off-screen, promoting wellness and healthy living.
@Sirgreaseflick Looks like you had a typo. Margaux died in 1996.

Sadly, Margaux (she changed her name to match the Chateau Marguax her parents were drinking when she was conceived) died June 30, 1966, suicide. She was the fifth member of her family to commit suicide. She once stated: "It's like I'm genetically programmed for disaster." She will be missed. To clear up any false suppositions, Margaux did land the a $1-million contract - the largest then signed - with Faberge on May 20, 1975. Mariel is more beautiful in every way; a natural!
