Feeding Hummingbirds in your hand.

Watch 3 and 4 Hummingbirds come to the feeder while holding it right in front of my face. Watch all 7 minutes and I put the feeder on my nose, and still attract hungry, ready to migrate, hummer's !!

Love it!

Our family did this in southern Ohio (Lake Hope area) at a nature center. They supplied single feeders for visitors, told you what you had to do and with a little patience the humming birds would come to feed. The kids loved it. I can hear their squeaks & sqawks - hard to believe thay can make so much noise

I volunteer for a nature Arboretum near my home, and like to document the special things I've found in my yard, whether it is Purple Martins, Bluebirds, Tree Swallows, or Hummers. Take any and every opportunity you have, to share some simple backyard happenings with friends. Our native birds have been trained to look for help from us, by us. This is just one small example of the simple, fun things right outside your window.... Glad you enjoyed the clip !!

Thanks eccentricoldcow! I live in Kentucky, and this was shot just before they migrated further south. They were coming to the feeder at more than just one at a time, and probably just "fueling up" before migrating on south.

Once I posted this clip, I found out that I'm not the only one enjoying getting hummingbirds to come so close.

You lucky man, how wonderful! Thanks so much for that. I have seen them in Belize right outside the cabana window, but never that close.I didn't know that they actually stopped to drink nectar, I thought they just hovered. Where abouts are you?
