This was the first song of the night at "The DIAMOND Club" in Toronto in Nov.1986. With an introduction from Q107's Andy Frost (who still had a full head of hair), we blasted through a blistering version of our second single. This one was definitely inspired by all of the Bo Diddley songs that we had in our repetoire. The words were written one sunny summer day at a rehearsal at "Charlie Brown's" in Yorkville, with a little help from our friends Jerry Stone & Earl "Scamp" Cunningham!
The beater in my kik pedal fell out about 6 bars into the song so that's why I was staring down at the floor for most of the song .... hoping it would magically jump back into place. Where's the drum tech when you really need him!
Too bad the whole clip is out of sync w/ the audio track. Damn!
