I got so lucky when I found that bag! I was with my friend and she sooo would have snagged it had I not saw it first! lol. I would have had to arm wrestle her for it!

Wow great deals at the estate sale! I am like you I am seam binding poor lol! Love the typewriters! What kills me is I had an awesome electric typewriter from when I went to college eons ago and I got rid of it a few years ago ugh lol. The cookbooks are very cool I have tons of the old cookbooks like that which I have collected over the years. They have such neat images in them. I love thrift shops and estate sales. Definitely was the deal of the day! TFS!

Thanks Kathy! I love a thrifty deal! Aaarrgh I bet you could kick yourself for letting go of your typewriter! Who would have known that we'd be wanting to type on those things again huh? lol. I am also a collector of cookbooks but I havent gotten into collecting old ones, I just buy all the new that come out! I have decided not to cut this one up for the cover, so many people have commented that it's a good book to actually use! TFW!

Great haul! Now i don't feel so bad as I don't have any seam binding either. LOL

LOL, you weren't alone in you "no seam binding".....I liked it but didn't want to add more to my already overflowing stash of stuff! But this deal was to great to ever pass on and now I have a nice little collection for peanuts!

Oh my gosh....I havent seen those type of coin purses in soooo long.....I think my Mom had one!!! If you could see the change purse I use for work you would die LOL....it has sooo much pen ink on it from pens leaking in my apron!!!

Hi Laurie, I am soooo making that pie! I'm going to keep the book intact and put it in my kitchen! I've had a few people tell me it's a great book! Thanks for the tip Laurie, I probably never would have thought to actually use it for it's intended purpose! I will now!
