I could've sworn Richard was one of the guys who took Walt off the raft.

@jswee217 You were right.

Man you guessed exactly right! In episode Ab Aeterno your theory came true, he was indeed a slave of Black Rock crashing on the island and smashing the statue of Taweret in 1867. MiB says the same to Richard when he frees him from the chains, so thats why Richard knew who he was when he said that, before he just thought he was John Locke.

@hocobo EVERYTHING, point is Alpert is revealed to not age in these episodes... it's IS kind of a big deal friendo

best character in the show. Definately the most sinister looking.
-
Richard is so awesome.
-
oh no i know tat,but i think richard gave him permission to use it to stay young.
and yeah the black rock,i think so too.
-
you probably know this by now but it was Jacob who made him looking the same age for how ever long. I have my speculations that he came on the boat they showed in the begining of the season as a slave.
-
I'll bet he ages fast now that Jacob is dead. "Jacob made me this way." I don't want to see how old he really is, lol.
richard alpert rocks!!!!

i think richard was a slave of some sort on the black rock, it would make the most sense because locke says to him in tonights ep. "nice to see you without those chains on you' or something to that effect.
with that being said, i think this whole lost show has become much more multi dimensional (if possible) so im fuckin pumped for the rest of the show!
