Any word that ends in "ize" in America, pretty much ends with "ise" in the UK/Ireland/Scotland/Wales/Aust­ralia/NZ etc.. and most of the time in Canada too.

"Equaliser" never sounded right to me though.

Pure American pronounciation of the English language, sticks to phonetic rules, while in England, it's been degraded severely.

Perhaps, last time I followed his show, there was a string of decent material on the issue... Actually discussing the solid cases that are so seldom discussed. Usually on major media outlets you see nothing but southern farmers with no teeth talking about "Dem' UFOz!!!". My point is, I would bet money that if major media outlets started treating the matter more seriously and really talked about the hard evidence that does exist (COMETA Report for example) you would follow suit.
