"Drawing upon a kaleidoscope of influences - Pop, Folk, Psychedelia, Country, Funk, Noise, Experimental... RSM created a body of work that is wildly unpredictable, vibrantly messy and bursting with ideas. He is unquestionably a product of the Media Age - a synthesist whose concoctions are pasted together from bits of the past and present, in a way that could only occur to an overexposed Pop-Culture Junkie." - Steve Huey

you can really hear a Monkees influence here, pretty strong, as a matter of fact. this is what it must have sounded like when the monkees got high on heroin and grass and jammed in the 60s that time.
