Remarks
- Cope 663's apartment is where the cinematographer Chris Doyle lives in Hong Kong. Wong visited him and decided to use his place.

- The eerie theme song was composed by Michael Galasso. Wong discovered his music in a record store in Tsim Sha Tsui, where the Chungking Mansion locates. Galasso wrote the soundtrack of In the Mood of Love later.

- Andrew Lau was the director of Inferno Affairs in 2002. He held the camera for Wong in this film in 1994.

I do not own the DVD. I got this video from
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPKJcp...

I added the subtitles.

  • @georgepburdell1 - but not the 1st edition release. I think it's on the 2nd edition.

  • It was my understanding that the cop and the blonde actress scenes were from a test film he shot. It's not actually part of the Chungking Express story. It was the original idea I think. Some of the scenes are clearly deleted scenes from the main film though. Wish he'd release an extended version to include these.

  • @georgepburdell1 - You probably know this now but it's on the (Artificial Eye) region 2 UK dvd.

  • So they shoot on the fly?

  • Where can I find this "eerie theme song" from Galasso?

  • Is there a DVD with the Wong Kar-Wai interview and the clips shown here?

  • Me neither! There seems to be alot of extra clips. I would relish the experience of an extended remake. Sadly, I don't think it is to be.

  • this was grea to see. my all-time favorite film and I have not seen these scenes before. First saw this movie in 2003.
