I imagine the pencil in my rt. hand and index finger of my left hand connected with a rigid bar so that my pencil and finger are always at the same place at the same time and at the same angle. This is much easier if you are drawing the same size as the picture. My technique is a mechanical process for me and does not involve tracing the outline first.

i do not get it, i want to draw but i can't i try and try but its looks wako!!! if you have any things you can tell me please cause i really want to know how to draw but it looks stupid!!! and i mean people or really anything i tried that shape memory thing but it looks wako still....i guess its a picture of a person not a poppy:€(
