@Montesama314, THANK YOU!!! Finally someone who realizes that Toshiro isn't like 1000 years when he most likey wasn't around 110 years before this. Plus, Byakuya and Gin WERE there 110 years before, and they aged since then, so you'd think Toshiro would age too if he was that old. The joke isn't that he's a 1000 year old boy, just a boy who acts old when really he's younger than most Soul Reapers (shinigami) despite being almost a century old.

Soul Reapers/Shinigami can live for hundreds of years. Rukia looks about 15 or so, but she says to a 15-year-old Ichigo that she's lived "ten of your lives" (so she's about 150).

I'm pretty sure Toshiro wasn't a captain 110 years before the plot (according to a filler story arc that counts as a canon flashback), so he probably isn't much over 100.

If 10 years equaled one Soul Reaper year, I'd guess that Toshiro's around 120 years old, or 12 Soul Reaper years.
